i like the experience of having our circle time rug in the center of our room, but the rug alone looked stark and ungrounded.
it didn’t feel practical to keep the canopy and rocking chairs, though. instead i cut strips of the fabric and created the feel of walls around our rug. i’ve been surprised that none of the fabric has been pulled down yet! i will need to take it down for the weekend anyway, but it has been worth the experience of flowing walls.
So beautiful!! I want to work at your preschool!!! Or be a student there : )
What a fun way to set off some space but still keep the room open and flowing. Thanks for your continual great ideas.
What a terrific idea! I’ve got to share this with me friends! Way to think outside the box! ;)
i love that!
“…the experience of flowing walls.” Oh my goodness. This took my breath away. Brilliant. Thank you for sharing!
Wow. I keep saying this, but you are awesome. I can’t even imagine how cool it would be to find a preschool for my kids that allowed giant pieces of fabric hanging from the ceiling! I hope your parents know how wonderful and unique your school is, and I hope you know how wonderful and unique you are!
